I love Gooseberry Patch. Enjoyed this cookbook. I used my new page flags to mark recipes I'm going to write in my new recipe binder. Tips throughout the book are so Helpful. I love Gooseberry Patch. I own something like a bazillion slow cooker books. I also dislike Gooseberry Patch because their publications are full of cutesy crafts and painfully domestic ideas about house and home. But this one... almost every single recipe was appealing to me. (some had sauerkraut. Yuck!)

So, despite the fact that my shelves are groaning under the weight of all my slow cooker books I'm gonna suck it up and get this one too.

This is my favorite cookbook that I own! I love my slow cooker because its so easy to have a hot meal at the end of the day when you are too busy to spend a lot of time in the kitchen at night. I have only tried about 1/4 of the recipes so far, but I'm working my way through them! This is my favorite cookbook that I own! A recipe to picture ratio of nearly 1:1, which is awesome. Lots of simple, easy to follow recipes. Not a lot that appealed to me, though, unfortunately.
